School Readiness
Preparing your child for a confident start to school
Our School Readiness program builds the routines, social skills, and independence children need for a smooth classroom transition — developed alongside the rest of their treatment plan, not as an afterthought.
What Is School Readiness?
Closing the gap between therapy and the classroom
Many of the skills that matter most for school success — following group instructions, transitioning between activities, sitting through a lesson, or asking a peer to share — don’t develop automatically. Our School Readiness program targets these specific skills directly, so the classroom feels familiar rather than overwhelming on day one.
This program draws on progress your child has already made in ABA, speech, and occupational therapy, and applies it to classroom-style scenarios: circle time, group instructions, waiting for a turn, and following a visual schedule.
We also coordinate directly with your child’s future or current school through Coordinated Care Conferences, so teachers understand what’s already working and can reinforce the same strategies in the classroom.

What We Build
The skills a classroom actually requires
We focus on the specific behaviors and routines that make the biggest difference in a school setting.
01
Classroom Routines
Practicing transitions, lining up, and following a daily schedule, so classroom structure feels predictable.
02
Following Group Instructions
Building the attention and comprehension skills needed to follow directions given to a whole group.
03
Social Skills with Peers
Sharing, taking turns, and joining group play — skills that support friendships from the first day.
04
Independence with Self-Care
Managing backpacks, coats, and bathroom routines independently, without relying on one-on-one support.
05
Attention & Transitions
Building the ability to stay engaged through a lesson and shift smoothly between activities.
