What Is a CMDE?

A Comprehensive Multi-Disciplinary Evaluation, or CMDE, is a required assessment under Minnesota’s EIDBI benefit that looks at your child’s developmental, behavioral, and communication needs from multiple angles rather than a single narrow test. At Integrity Care Co, this evaluation is the foundation every other service is built on.
Our team gathers information through direct observation, structured assessment tools, and conversations with parents and caregivers, so the final report reflects how your child actually functions at home, in school, and in the community — not just how they perform in a single clinical setting.
If your child already has a valid CMDE from another provider, we review it and move directly to building an Individual Treatment Program. A new evaluation is only completed when one is needed, so families never pay for or sit through duplicate assessments.
